Mantles Are Falling | Prophecy

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is calling His people to a deeper level of consecration. He desires for us to give up our will and surrender our vessel (our body) to be used for His Glory. He desires to release on us the mantles of the old prophets and those who have walked in complete surrender to the Living God, Christ Jesus.

Releasing the Mantles

In March 2014 I had a vision where I was taken into a very large room. It’s ceiling stretched as far as the eyes could see. It was very wide. It was arranged like a department store with clothes on display. Many racks were grouped together. Each rack contained mounted bespoke jackets (made to be fitted to a particular individual). Each had unique intricate designs made with diamonds, emeralds, gold, sapphire, rubies and several other precious stones and minerals. The colours of the jackets were of the purest blue, white, yellow and various other brilliant colours. They resembled no jacket design that I had ever seen on earth.

I stood in awe. Each of them was appealing. I desperately wanted one but which should I choose?

I came to get a jacket for my friend’s wedding. He was marrying the girl of his dream and I wanted to look really good for the event. They had known each other from their youth and had waited a very long time for this wedding. The owner of the store walked up to me. He was immaculately dressed in a blue suit with a tie. All around there were workers tending to the suits.

“Take one”, the owner answered my inner thoughts.  “Any one you desire”

I was hesitant. These were very expensive suits. How could I afford one of them?

Knowing my inner thoughts the owner answered.

“They do not cost anything.”

I was overjoyed. I knew he was good at making these jackets but this was beyond my wildest imagination. Everyone of them were perfect. I came without money. I came in desperation. I wanted one. Now my desire was being fulfilled.

Wow! I could hardly contain myself.

As soon as I woke from the vision, I quickly wrote it in my journal. As I wrote the Holy Spirit told me that these were mantles waiting to be collected.

Two weeks before this vision the Lord told me this.

He is ready to release the mantles of the old prophets and those He’s used mightily to perform miracles, signs and wonders

Keys For Receiving

He further said we have read the Old Testament and have not desired to move in this level of glory. We have seen them as very distant occurrences, when we should desire to be used even greater than these prophets. Jesus said that the least in the Kingdom is greater than John the Baptist.

Luke 7:28 (NKJV)

For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”

We do know that John the baptist did no miracles or performed signs and wonders. The old prophets did. Many of them walked closely with God. They were our first examples of what it means to operate as a son of God. They were firmly rooted in their identity and faith in God. As a result God performed many miracles through them.

So what made John the Baptist greater than them? When we examine his ministry we can see two distinct proclamations. He announced that it was the time for the arrival of the Messiah. People were warned to prepare for the coming of his kingdom by repentance from their sins. Everywhere he went the message was the same. ‘Repent! The kingdom of God is near.’ As people heard and received the message from this prophet, the Holy Spirit moved on their heart. A great number of people were baptised. Even some religious teachers.

I baptize with water,” John replied, “but among you stands One you do not know. 27 He is the one who comes after me. The straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.” 28 All this happened at Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! ~ John 1:26-28

His next act which distinguished him from all the other prophets was his declaration of the Messiah. Every other prophet spoke of his coming. John the Baptist. Said ‘There He is!’ He pointed people to the true and living way.

His prophesy was fulfilled before the people. The sign that followed his message was manifested before them. Jesus of Nazareth, a man anointed and blessed by God the Father came forward. He submitted himself to John and was baptised. Then he set about doing the will of the Father to establish the righteous rule and reign of God on earth. His final act was to give his life as a substitute for the sins of mankind. Then he rose with all power and authority in heaven and earth. He was once again restored to His place of majesty and glory in the heavenly realm and over the earth.

The power He received was given to his children. It was given for them to establish the Kingdom of God on this earth. The Kingdom is one of glory and power. It is testifies to the majesty and glory of God. We his children are heirs to all that is within the Kingdom.

In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. ~ 1 John 4:17

That makes us greater than the prophets of the old testament. We declare Christ Jesus as the risen King and demonstrate his glory. When we speak his word he will testify to its true with signs and wonders.

And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race]. 16 He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned. 17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; 18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well. 19 So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God. ~ Mark 16:15-19, Amplified Classic Edition

God makes the power of the kingdom available to all His children. We must be willing to bear the burden of our cross to walk in this level of anointing. All he needs is someone to walk in obedience to Him.

He desires to pour out His glory without measure (limitation) on us; His people. However, we must consecrate and submit to His will. We must die to ourselves and allow the Holy Spirit to reign in us. Our nature has been too carnal. The flesh rules us far too easily. If we surrender to the leading of the Holy Spirit we will not struggle as we do.

Romans 8:14-17 (NKJV)

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Deep Calls Unto Deep

The mantles of Enoch, Elijah, Moses and other prophets of old are being released in this age.

Where are the consecrated vessels?

Christ Jesus requires your total surrender. Will you take up your cross and follow Him? Will you lay down everything to receive the crown of life?

1 Kings 19:19-21 (NKJV)

19 So he departed from there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, whowas plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he was with the twelfth. Then Elijah passed by him and threw his mantle on him. 20 And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah, and said, “Please let me kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.” And he said to him, “Go back again, for what have I done to you?” 21 So Elisha turned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen and slaughtered them and boiled their flesh, using the oxen’s equipment, and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah, and became his servant.

Elisha demonstrated a total commitment to the call. He destroyed the instruments of his livelihood as an act of his commitment. Peter and Andrew left their father’s fishing business to follow Jesus. Matthew walked away from his job as a tax collector. They demonstrated complete surrender to the call by doing the will of God. They gave up the most important thing in their life to follow Jesus.

Now He is asking us to surrender our own plans and embrace his plan for our life. We must trust Him with all our heart. When we do we will receive our mantles.
