God of Controversy

“I am not averse to controversy. I use these situations to prove that I am God. And to shake the tradition of man.”

This was the beginning of a conversation with me. That I was not prepared to have with the Great I AM. I dreaded the implications for my current walk. You see my journey, as a Prophet as not been the usual. God has taken me through situations and circumstances that have caused many to doubt my relationship with Him. This assignment was proving to be no different.

God of Originals

“Hi I am John but my Hebrew name is Yochanan. Just like the Apostle John or John the Baptist. ” His face beamed with pride at the association.

I told him my name (only the first). He quickly gave me the Hebrew version and the meaning. I smiled in acknowledgement and thanked him. I loved his fervour. It was infectious. We were decades apart in age and maybe in dimness of view.

I sensed a deep love for the people of God. The light in his eyes told me that he loved the lessons gleaned from their lives. I felt a bit of sadness inside though. In the Waiting Room

She sat silently watching everyone around her. Time had blurred. The round face of the clock on the wall before her smiled back at her. Its ticking sound was lost in her reverie. Her focus was on everything that was happening.

There was constant movement in the waiting room. Human traffic was high. There was constant movement. Some walked on crutches. Others used wheelchairs. Those with vision impairment were being assisted to move. Some were carried on gurneys. Continue reading In the Waiting Room
