Rise of The Army of Martyrs | Prophecy

God is gathering a group of brave individuals. An army of Martyrs. They are ready to sacrifice their lives for the gospel and fearlessly spread the message of salvation even in hostile places.

Do not worry. Be bold in the Lord and be strong in the power of His might.

God will pour out the grace given to Marilyn Hickey to minister openly in many Arabs nations on this army. Get ready as He anoints your head with oil.

Opening the Door to Nations

It is very important that we are sensitive to the voice of God. As you go about your day something may occur that opens the door for Him to speak to you. This is what happened to me last night.

As I was preparing for bed, I saw a video about the conversion of a Saudi Arabian Muslim to the worship of Jesus Christ. His journey was quite fascinating. God worked on his heart for 12 years. The saints who ministered to him were patient and simply loved him. They did not push anything on him. Whenever he wanted to talk religion they listened and shared the reason for their faith with supporting evidence. Despite his stance over a long period of time he came to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It wasn’t the testimony I heard but this one resonated with me.

It was on Facebook so I decided to share it on the ministry page and ask the saints to keep our Arabs brothers and sisters (both churched and unchurched) in our prayers. As I wrote the request I instantly remembered when the Holy Spirit had spoken to me concerning revival among the sons of Ishmael.

I was keenly interested in what happened in this nation for a few years after he spoke and had prayed for them but that focus changed when our lives were interrupted in 2020. As I retrieved the prophecy from the blog, at the end of that word grabbed my focus. The prayer of intercession for an outpouring of God’s Spirit on the Arabs had flowed with the prophetic word.

Very gently the Holy Spirit told me to restart daily prayer for them. As I knelt to pray I was reminded of the period during which the Lord had gifted me with an special prayer shawl. He had instructed Tameika, my dear girlfriend, who is now my wife, to send me the shemagh, Arab head scarf for use during prayer. The moment I held the scarf in my hand the presence of God came very heavily on me. I began praying in a language that sounded vaguely familiar. I had knew I had heard it in the movies. I knew it was the common language of the Arabs but I did not know the name. So I asked the Holy Spirit what language I was speaking.

“Farsi”, He responded. “You have been given the language to intercede for them.”

Each time I placed this prayer shawl on my head a burden for these souls would come on me. It felt like I was lifting heavy weights. Prayer would flow in the language for hours. Sometimes I knew what was being prayed and sometimes I didn’t. Early each morning and late at nights the prayers were offered with tears and deep groaning and moaning. One day during prayer I had a trance. I saw hundreds of men kneeling to pray in a huge mosque. Then I saw a man of God walk into the mosque. He wore a long flowing white robe and the Muslim head scarf. The very same outfit most of the men wore. Yet there was something different about him. He bowed himself to the floor and began to pray. In that moment God supernaturally made me hear the prayer of his heart. All the prayers were being uttered to the Lord Jesus. After the prayer he got up and walked over to all the people who were ill, sick, lame and infirmed. He began to pray for them and touch them with his hands. As he did Jesus healed them all. People got up out of wheelchairs. Sickness and disease left them. As the miracles and healing happened they began jumping and rejoicing. The commotion halted all prayers. A circle formed around them. Everyone came over to see what was happening. The man turned around and began to boldly share the gospel of Jesus Christ. No one attempted to stop him or restrain him. They all listened keenly. During that season of intercession there were many other visions that I received concerning the salvation of the Arab people.

Five years later, in 2018, God began to speak to me about the coming Great Revival that would occur in the nations, including the Middle East. He not only advised of what was to come but gave a charge for continuous intercession.

Do Not Be Weary

Prayer is absolutely necessary for the doors of the nations to open to the gospel. Opportunities to share the gospel must be birthed with prayers. Sometimes it will take years of prayer and preparation before that time comes. Be steadfast in your prayer. Consistently work in secret to accomplish all God tells you to do. If you get stopped in your prayers, repent and resume as quickly as you can. God understands and will not condemn you.

God has an appointed a day when He will open the door to the nations to you. What you have labored for years to obtain will suddenly come. God will open the opportunity for you to go in and minister. Be faithful to the call.

Addendum

A martyr as defined by Thayer’s Greek-English Lexicon Dictionary means

  1. One who is a living witness of God’s counsel and serves him by testimony.
  2. In the ethical sense, it means any person who has proven the strength and genuineness of their faith in Christ by undergoing a violent death like Jesus Christ.
