Two days ago I had a dream that troubled me deeply. In the dream, I saw children being taught discipline, morality, acceptable conduct and social norms by their parents, guardians, teachers and other elders. The children listened at first and obeyed. Very shortly after receiving the instructs they got together with their peers. I could not tell where they were gathering. What I do know is that they wore beige khaki uniforms. As I examined their height and physical features, I discerned that they were a blend of middle (Junior High) and High School students. They began to discuss what they were told by the adults. All of them agreed that they would not obey. They knew what they wanted and would do whatever they wanted.
To ensure they got the right to operate how they choose, they began to protest in the streets. Many of the children held signs over their heads. These signs read, “Love is Love”, “Self-expression”, “Love”, “right to choose”, “right to be”, “Equality”, “Right to Choose” and several other things.
The adults tried to reason with them but they would not listen. They wanted everyone to accept their demands. They wanted change. Now!
Interpretation of the Dream
As I prayed about the dream, the Holy Spirit gave me understanding. This is what He said.
“A spirit of rebellion will descend on the youth. They will rise against authority. They will seek to take a different path from their parents. All social norms will be pushed aside for freedom of individual expression. Everything and anything will go.”
The Holy Spirit later reminded me of some cases I had encountered with children. Their parents were shocked to hear of their bad behavior at school or among their peers. They could not understand why their sweet and perfect child would misbehave so badly. The Lord reminded me that in all instances he had revealed that the spirit of rebellion was at work in them.
The Holy Spirit further said this.
The fowls have come home to roost.
This means what has been sown for decades is being reaped. Many children were raised on television. Their parents instilled very little values in them. They just left them to the programs on the television. Very popular children channels took advantage of that. They wasted no time indoctrinating the children to be rebellious. Parents were portrayed as stupid, retarded and just to be ignored. These children now have a blatant disregard for authority.
Isaiah 3:12
As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people, your leaders cause you to err, and they confuse (destroy and swallow up) the course of your paths.
Exposing the Spirit of Rebellion
The rebellious trend will continue if we give ear to the advocacy of progressive politicians, celebrities, major media, social media and other influencers. They mislead you when they say you must allow the children to choose their gender at any age. The assigned gender by God does not matter. Children must be able to choose. They know what they want. (Although, they have not experienced life). Let them make their own rules. Parents and caregivers just help them on their adventure. Allow the children to express themselves.
It sounds wonderful doesn’t it? Influencers will let you think this is the substance of world peace. Society will be so much better. Those who advocate allow the children to do whatever they want, please answer this question.
“Where is the proof? Please show me where in history a nation or empire ruled by a child has prospered?”
We know that behind the voice of the influencers is a spirit of witchcraft. Where there is witchcraft you can bet there is rebellion. These spirits work together. They speak through the advisers. Their agenda is to stir up rebellion and strife. They seek destruction. Satan also seek to mock God.
Galatians 6:7-9
Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. 8 For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.
Please pay careful attention to the beige khaki uniform worn by the children (in the dream). It represents the works of the flesh, listed in Galatians 5:19-20. Among the 19 works of the flesh is the sin of rebellion.
Galatians 5:19-20
Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency, 20 Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies), 21 Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
The spirit of rebellion gains entry into someone’s life through this sin. It then begins to take control of them. The manifestation of it will be a need to oppose all rule. A drive to overturn righteous rule will be present.
Children Live What They Learn
Take heart, all is not lost. There are many families that have instilled values and attitudes in their children that keep them from these temptations. But you must be watchful.
Do not let television or social media raise your child(ren). Take time from your busy schedule to raise them. Teach them the word of God on a daily basis or as frequent as you can. The Bible tells us that children must be taught the word of God from a tender age. When we are diligent to do this they will not stray when they teachings when they get older (Proverbs 22:6). If they stray, be assured your labor is not in vain. The word embedded in their heart will bring them back to truth. I am a living testimony of that fact. I grew up in church. Strayed and came back to God.
Far too often we follow culture. Children are taught about fairy tales and magical stuff. They are not taught the Word of God. Magic and fairy tales only keep them in a state of fantasy. It does nothing to build or sustain them spiritually. The end result is only damnation. Sad to say, sometimes in church nurseries, children are not taught God’s word. All they are fed are meaningless games sprinkled with very little Bible truths. The Lord Jesus is very concerned about this.
Many years ago when my sister had her daughter, she needed to go back to work. I got a lucrative offer to undertake a contract to build a computer program. It paid a lot of money each month. As you can imagine I was overjoyed at the offer. Thankfully I told my friend I would pray about it. As soon as I brought the matter to God, he advised me to leave it alone. He did not send the work. Babysitting my niece was the assignment. My sister needed the help so she could go back to work.
The first day I began to babysit my niece God told me to pray over her every day. He also advised me to teach her about Him. Yes you heard right. The baby was just over a month old and God told me to teach her about Him. I obeyed and taught her about God in very simple terms. I also told her Bible stories about the people in the Bible. When I asked the Lord if she understood, He told me to leave that to Him.
Many times while I tended to her the power of God came on me. Without hesitation, I would immediately release the power on her by laying hands on her. Sometimes God gave me worship songs to sing over her. At other times a powerful anointing came on me that gently led me to pray in tongues for her and make declarations about her future. I did this for the entire school year.
Imagine that for a few seconds. that a baby, just a few months old, be taught about Him. He understood the importance of teaching the little child. To Him that life is precious. No different from an adult. We must never forbid them to come to Him. If we do He will hold you accountable for the loss of that soul?
Do you know that God will hold parents responsible for the loss of these souls?
Deuteronomy 4:9
Only take heed, and guard your life diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen and lest they depart from your [mind and] heart all the days of your life. Teach them to your children and your children’s children—
Take Your Position of Authority
The Devil is at work. He is using every means to destroy our children. Most of the children in the dream were under the influence of demonic spirits. The Devil has no limit on who he will attack. Age does not matter. He is does not play fear. Children and the vulnerable are the quickest for him to destroy. He knows he can take control of them easily. If you do not cover your children in prayer and maintain order in your home Satan will exploit the opening. He will cease control of their life.
What Satan knows is that God has anointed you to stand guard over the children. He can only gain access to a child if the parent(s) step aside. Please do not!
Take your stand against the Devil. Do not back down in the war for the soul of the children. You are the head of your home. Take authority over your home and your children. Cast out the enemy. Command him to release your children. Apply the blood of Jesus over your household every day. Demons cannot cross the bloodline.
Your authority is outlined in Ephesians 1:14-23 and Ephesians 2:1-8. Meditate on it daily. Let that knowledge be in your heart, mind and soul. Rehearse it to yourself as you are going about your business. Rehearse it while you lay down and are talking. Live this truth. Take authority over your home. Take authority anywhere God sends you. Command the demonic spirits to leave your children.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I arise against the enemy. I take my position of authority in the heavenly realm.
Satan in the name of Jesus I bind you. I forbid you to touch my children (name them or him or her).
I take authority over every wicked spirit that seeks to control their life. I cover them with the blood of Jesus Christ. I release the peace of God on them.
My children are who God says they are. Children of valor, trustworthy, obedient, brilliant, creative, patient, kind, and gentle. Blessed with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, gifts and talents by the Heavenly Father. A leader not a follower. The head and not the tale. Above only and not beneath. They shall prosper in every good thing. They shall not suffer harm or danger. They are protected by the Living God. No evil will come near them. I thank you Father that all things are working for their good.
